It is a reality that the number of home/pet owners using Nomador is rapidly declining. After joining the site in November of last year, I've been astounded by how quickly the offers are disappearing. They have only been able to keep France as a base. Whole areas and significant metropolises in North America and Europe lack even a single listing. For instance, in the most populous region of the US, the tri-state area, there have been no homeowner postings at all for months at a time. Take NYC as an example. The same is true for California, which is just as densely populated as the Northeast of the nation. And no offers are offered in most major cities in Europe! I've reached out to them repeatedly, but each time I got an utterly lax response. I proposed that instead of merely having a referral program that rewards current members with discounts for inviting their friends and family to join, they could conduct specials, issue promo codes, develop an advertising campaign, or even just have a referral strategy. Trustedhousesitters.com does this, and it is effective! While Nomador's membership base is rapidly dwindling outside of France, theirs is rapidly expanding. But Nomador's administrators are inattentive and complacent in the face of a pressing issue that is only getting worse for the site's current users, particularly house-sitters who have little to no choice but to accept offers from pet/home owners. I would never suggest Nomador after contacting the Nomador admins personally and receiving weak justifications and lies from them in relation to this issue. This has to change!
