Some claim that it is impossible to obtain and that we must first establish an LLC before applying for an EIN. However, thanks to you guys, we were able to obtain our EIN without the need to establish a new business in the USA because our non-profit organization is already established and registered in France. And you are quite correct; since you sent the EIN request within 48 hours, it is not at all your fault if we do not receive a timely response. The IRS occasionally takes too long to complete requests, which was the situation in our case. But this is likely due to the fact that we are in France. In December 2021, I paid for the ITIN Application Packet. It required 9 LONG MONTHS. I initially gave them a negative review since they advertised a 2-3 month timeline. Yet, the IRS was to blame for the issue. I called the IRS and got confirmation of such. However I believe EIN-ITIN should be more transparent about the turnaround time. Just be careful with the timelines; they received my ITIN, but it took longer than expected (more than 8 months). Because I don't want to harm anyone's business, I'm changing my bad feedback to a FULLY good one. Yet, you should also always be honest with your customers and avoid giving them false optimism.
