I was given a list of realtors by Clever, and I decided to work with Amanda Zito of Mainstreet Realtors. She is incredible and gave a thorough explanation of the selling process. From beginning to end, she made the process incredibly simple.
Excellent communication, a top-notch realtor, and full assistance! I'll admit that I had low expectations for the discount commission assistance, but I couldn't have been more misguided. My best ever sales experience!
In our experience, the agent was pleasant, professional, and incredibly skilled at his work. The service quality for the price caught us off guard. We strongly advise utilizing Clever. You are given a choice of agents, and you can select whoever you feel is the best choice for your property. We would definitely hire them again since they helped us save thousands of dollars.
On a web article criticizing Homie.com, I noticed Clever arranged in a grid alongside similar businesses. Instead of reading the rest of the article, I focused on the comparison grid, where Clever had a low commission but offered nationwide exposure rather than only coverage in a few states. So I applied, and the following day two agents emailed me. I chose one of them, and he sold it for the maximum price and had it go pending in just 10 days. Sorry Clever personnel, I had never heard of Clever before, but after using it, I would suggest it to anyone who wants to sell with a qualified local realtor and avoid paying a commission. I can't believe it woke up so quickly. I'm grateful, Clever!
All Clever Partner Agents, according to Clever, have agreed to offer 100% complete service and assistance for a flat listing charge of $3000, or just 1% for homes costing more than $350,000. This is untrue; the agent Clever from the Woodlands, Texas referred to me informed me that I would need to pay $150 for photographs and $350 for a transaction coordinator. Blatantly deceptive advertisement.
After getting in touch with Clever, they suggested Samantha, who I believed could sell our house. They put a price on it of $59,900, and it decreased from there. $48,500 was the final quoted price. The agent only personally toured the home once; the rest of the time, other agents from different firms did so. She informed me she was keeping it under control after I gave her suggestions on how to list on Facebook. We were unable to sell our home, and I believe the agent should have worked more to earn a higher commission. Suggest Clever? Never!
